Consider how you want to close out 2023 and build an amazing New Year with a New You! Join us for a full day of exploring what coaching is and how a professional coach can take your career and life to a new level! You’ll hear from coaching leaders as they provide tools that empower you and develop your presence and leadership. \n  \nNeed a reason to attend? Hear from our keynote speaker Becky Magnotta \n  \n \n  \n\n\n\nYou’ll experience: \n  \nIntroduction and Keynote with Becky Magnotta\, of Homestead Coaching and Consulting\, LLC. Becky will share her journey and how she uses her strengths\, values and her saboteurs to help plan her path for the next year and beyond. She will also provide you an overview of what the day looks like\, and introduce you to your team of sponsors\, speakers\, coach/facilitators\, and support.\n\n\n\n\n  \n  \nThree experiential breakout sessions where you will gain immediate\, actionable tools. We call these experiential because you’ll have devoted time to practice and develop an action plan to immediately apply what you learned. For each breakout session\, we use the framework of What (What did I learn?)\, So What (What does it mean to me?) and Now What (How will I use the information?). You’ll also be guided in application for each session by your table host who is a certified International Coach Federation (ICF) coach. \n  \nThe three breakout session topics are: \nCoaching 101 – What\, Why and How (Stephanie Brown) – What is coaching and why do I need it and how will it help me?  We’ll also cover how to find the right coach and how to convince your company to pay for it. \nWheel of Life – What it means and how to use it? (Speaker TBD)– We’ll take time to look back over your life\, where have you been\, and what lessons have you learned?  With that insight\, look at where you are currently focusing your energy\, and decide if that’s what you want in 2024.  We’ll wrap up by making some plans of steps you can take to make 2024 exceptional. \nYour Leadership and Coaching (Speaker TBD) – We are all leaders.  We always lead ourselves; we might lead others\, lead leaders\, or lead an organization.  How does leading yourself change through this progressive journey\, and how do we ensure we are self-aware and in command of our emotions every step of the way. \n  \nWe’ve heard that you want more networking!  We have included extensive opportunities to network with fellow women in the CI channel – at the sessions\, breakfast\, lunch\, coffee breaks and a happy hour.

During her tenure as CEO of the Girl Scouts of the USA from 2016 to 2020\, Sylvia’s transformative leadership left an indelible mark. She spearheaded the organization’s most significant program expansion in over a century\, introducing 146 new badges and programs in STEM\, Outdoors\, Entrepreneurship\, and Civics. This initiative resulted in the earning of over one million STEM badges by girls in rural\, urban and suburban communities. \nBeginning her career as a rocket scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory\, Sylvia’s journey took her through technology executive roles at renowned companies such as Apple\, Autodesk\, Dell\, and IBM. Her tenure at NASA fulfilled her lifelong dream of contributing to the space program through her work on the Voyager 2 mission. \nPresident Obama selected Sylvia as a White House Education Commissioner where she led a change in Federal Policy in early childhood education.
