Executive Presence for Women
Women in Consumer Technology welcomes Drew Jacobs, Training Manager and Facilitator for the Ariel Group.
Executive Presence helps women leaders and high potential leaders demonstrate the confidence that matches their expertise and intellect. Participants will explore the subtleties of voice, body and message congruence. To achieve these results, The Ariel Group employs theater-based, participative techniques that include:
- Interactive exercises that introduce participants to behaviors that can add or detract from their ability to communicate effectively.
- Techniques to develop an awareness of body language and vocal quality as tools in projecting a commanding presence.
- Opportunities for peer-coaching, with guidance from the facilitator, providing each participant to hone their ability to coach others.

Becky Magnotta
MBA, PCC, CPQC
Homestead Coaching and Consulting.
Becky Magnotta is President of Homestead Coaching and Consulting.
Her coaching uses her deep corporate experience which includes over 30 years with companies such as DISH Network, and Chevron, and 20 years of Leadership and Talent Development experience. She has been an Executive Coach for 7 years.
As a coach, Becky has supported all levels of executives in every field including consumer technology, medicine, finance, software development. Becky has helped leaders from the C-Suite and in Operations, Sales, Marketing, IT, and Human Resources.
Becky enjoys public speaking and has presented talent management, leadership, and coaching topics at many international conferences and events and various on-line interviews.
Becky has a bachelor’s degree in piano performance from the University of Denver, and an M.B.A. with a finance emphasis from Regis University in Denver.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, playing music, traveling, hiking spending time with family and friends – and especially her husband, Steve.
Drew Jacobs
Training Manager and Facilitator
Ariel Group
Drew Jacobs serves as Training Manager and Facilitator for the Ariel Group. She is responsible for recruiting, certifying and providing development for Ariel’s Global Facilitator team. Among her many interests within the training field, she has a special focus on developing presence in millennial-aged professionals as a way of strengthening her clients’ leadership pipelines. Most recently, she was featured in Training Industry Magazine, co-writing an article on navigating the manager-millennial relationship.
She is also particularly passionate about women’s leadership, having worked with Linkage’s Women in Leadership Conference in helping the female professional community discover and claim their value in the workplace. Some of Drew’s clientele includes Harvard Business School, Capital One, Vista Print, Abbvie Pharmaceuticals and Fresenius Medical Care.
As an actress, Drew has regularly appeared on the main stage of several Boston theaters. Her most recent credit includes the starring role in the web series “Staying in Boston” for which she was nominated for “Outstanding Lead Actress” at both the Los Angeles and Miami Web Festivals. Season two will be premiering in the fall of 2017.
